I've been feeling a little contemplative lately. Not sure why, but as I watch the unfolding events in Iran where the people are incensed by recent election results it strikes me that there are still an inordinate amount of people in Canada who don't even bother to vote.
That leads me to thinking about something my Dad used to say to me: "people died before you to afford you the right to vote". Then, that leads me to thinking about our men and women in Afghanistan.
Which leads to this beautiful song by my friend,
Tannis Slimmon.
