It's a bit of a long clip, and you have to sit through a commercial, AND some allegedly witty banter between Juno host Russell Peters & some Olympians, but if you can stick it out, you get to watch Kathleen Edwards perform "Walk On By" with Bryan Adams.

    I did indeed. Bryan was clearly caught off guard.

    It's tough to react nicely to something you truly don't care about, but whether or not you love Lindsay or Tanya Kim, if you're going to walk the carpet and not take the back door you gotta play the whole game. Instead of "Who cares?" maybe "Lindsay Lohan...Lindsay Lohan.. why do I know that name?"

    I thought the Lindsay Lohan comment was SO inappropriate for an event supposedly celebrating Canadian culture, I felt both Bryan's and Kathleen's comments totally were justified.

    The implication of the question was that recognition in the US was the ultimate goal of any Canadian artist. And the response of "who?" and "who cares?" clearly put the interviewer in her place.

    At least, that is what I took from that split second exchange.

    I loved their performance. Bryan and Kathleen make a sexy couple; and that makes me insanely jealous of Kathleen.

    Very good point RH. I didn't think of it that way. If it was "You're going to do a duet with Avril Lavigne" at least it would've *sort of* had relevancy.
