South By Southwest is the largest music festival in North America, stuffed into the "Live Music Capital Of The World", Austin, Texas, USA. On this very special podcast we have whittled down that list of 150 Canuck artists to a mere 16 must-see favourites of ours... several of whom are playing our two live broadcasts from the festival.

    1600???? sheesh and I thought NxNE was overwhelming. I think my head would explode if i went. It's heartbreaking enough to pick a handful a day, but to see an endless list of great bands you aren't seeing....well that would tragic-

    lost in AZ?

    Hey Grant - as a Canadian temporarily stranded in Austin, I feel I should point out that the saguaro cactus pictured above doesn't actually grow in Texas. It's native to Arizona and southern California. I made that mistake shortly after moving to Austin and was vehemently rebuked by born-and-bred Texans who felt very strongly about the correct identification of their native plants. It's for your own protection, dude.

    hey, we put up with a lifetime of igloo and ice fishing imagery whenever anyone does something on Canada, so I will expect you to HAPPILY put up with our one ignorant cactus, ok?
