The quizzically cool Halifax singer-songwriter Jenn Grant has announced details of her upcoming new album to CBC Radio 3.
In a series of excited yet cryptic text messages, Jenn eagerly informs us that her new album is entitled Echoes, and will be released by Six Shooter Records on January 27, 2009. Echoes was recorded at a farm house near Schomberg, Ontario, apparently owned by someone named "Puck".
Echoes will be Jenn Grant's official follow-up to her debut record Orchestra For The Moon, released in May 2007. "Dreamer", the second song on the record, became the theme to the CBC television teen-horse soap-drama Heartland.
