Each year at the annual NXNE Music Festival, Radio 3 likes to present a few nights of incredible Canadian music and we continued in that tradition back in June of this year.
Though I wasn't in Toronto to enjoy the festivities sadly, I did hear through the R3 grapevine that on one of the nights, there was a line up that stretched outside the front doors of the Horseshoe Tavern onto Queen street and around the corner onto Spadina Street.
I'm not surprised that folks wanted in, if not to catch a glimpse of various Radio 3 personalities milling about, then to check out the incredible lineup that included Spiral Beach, Hey Rosetta! and Rebekah Higgs.
For this podcast, we're presenting to you the full live performance of East Coast rockers Matt Mays & El Torpedo from that night in June of 2008. Yes, it was hot and yes, it was sweaty and yes, this performance was mindblowing.
