It's been 18 years in the making, and anyone attending the Sappy Music Festival in Sackville, New Brunswick this summer will have a chance to see it.
It's Eric's Trip... the movie!
The documentary is entitled Eric's Trip: 1990 - 1996 and is made up of footage gathered by Eric's Trip guitarist and singer Rick White. The film chronicles the legendary band's rise from their sweaty practice basement in Moncton, to their signing with Sub-Pop Records, to headlining sold-out shows across North America and Europe.
Eric's Trip will also perform at the premiere (and don't forget about the tour dates out west!)
The Sappy Music Festival runs from August 1 - 3 2008, and includes such bands as Chad VanGaalen, Miracle Fortress, Christine Fellows, and many, many more!
