Sailors, talking garbage cans, The Seven Wonders of the CBC, and men named "Carmen (or Carman)"; these are but four of the heady issues that we tackle on The R3-30 Podcast this week. Well, not tackle exactly. More like broach, or at least mention and then move on.
This week, we separate 10 songs from the herd of The R3-30. Our Long Range Request this week comes from Sheena in Ottawa and goes all the way to Elliott...wherever he may be. The Wheel of Freedom spins its way to Burnaby, B.C., where Carmen (a girl) pitches a great track by Raised By Swans, and a great new song from Bedouin Soundclash makes it onto the chart.

Secondly, I offered The R3-30 Podcast Twin Spin as one of the Seven Wonders of Canada. It didn't make it. I realize that a Twin Spin isn't that wonderful.
Now, over on Tod Maffin's insidethecbc blog, he's looking for The Seven Wonders of the CBC. If The R3-30 Wheel of Freedom doesn't at least make it onto that list, there's something seriously wrong with this world. I'm not telling you what to do, but there are three links to that page inside this post. So...y'know...
