On more than one occasion in my life, I have been accused of being an undercover cop. Which I am not. I also get funny looks sometimes from rappers when I am passionately interested in promoting their music.
I suppose my interests are not readily apparent.
When I met up with Vancouver MC Chadio to get a copy of the album he made with Aalo Guha called Underestimated Raindrops it was kind of awkward.
At first I thought it was me (I told you, I'm not a cop!), but after a bit of conversation, I realized that Chadio didn't really want me to listen to the album. I mean, he did want me to hear it, and I got a copy, and we play it sometimes on Radio 3, but what Chadio really wanted to tell me about was DDR - Dance Dance Revolution.
He was already bored of his older music, and was super excited about the brand new sounds that the DDR crew was laying down.
Now that I've heard it - I don't blame him.
Check it out - a rap crew with a real big name - This Dance Dance Revolution Will Not Be Televised with Who's Gonna Dance?
