Ryder Havdale of Vancouver's
The Mohawk Lodge is a busy guy.
In addition to singing, playing guitar, and being the band's primary songwriter, he also runs their record label,
White Whale Records (also home to acts like
Poorfolk,
Precious Fathers,
Octoberman and
Castle Project).
Ryder recently dropped by CBC Radio 3 to talk about The Mohawk Lodge's classic rock-inspired sophomore album,
Wildfires, recorded in woodsy settings in BC and Ontario.
