Dear Blog,
If you remember a little while back we had Rich Aucoin here in our Vancouver studios at the beginning of his bike tour across Canada. A ride which will simultaneously raise money for cancer research and promote his new album, Personal Publication, that synch's with The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.
To be honest, Grant and I were a bit worried because he admitted to us that the extent of his bike experience was pedaling to work. Nuts to our skepticism! He has made it over the Rockies!
"The only option left, it seemed, to keep moving forward was just to cut the breaks and hope that they wouldn't be needed; so, that's just what I did. I pedaled the second half of the day sans breaks..."
He is currently in Calgary and is on his way to Edmonton for a show at SNAP Art Gallery on June 7th. More updates in the coming weeks but if you want day by day reports check out Rich's blog at thecoast.ca
