Does someone have it out for Canadian band sites?
First it was Duchess Says whose website got hijacked by some Turkish computer nerds.
Now Magneta Lane had their MySpace site broken into and trashed.
On their blog, they write "SOME DICKSMACK HACKED INTO OUR MYSPACE", then go on to explain that two years' worth of fans and comments - and 7000 friends - were erased.
"It will take some time to get this back up but we promise we will soon," they write. "We must start from scratch. Spread the word."
Magneta Lane has a handful of dates coming up, and you can get all the details on the MySpace site, which they have started to rebuild. Just make sure to sign up as a friend while you're there!
